Boots on the Ground
In the spring of 2023, Layla was invited to screen her film ‘Blood and Water’ and join an international delegation of activists, in Paris France, on World Water Day. She spoke at conferences and meetings, as well as addressing members of the French Parliament. She then travelled through the countryside, with the delegation, bringing an urgent message about water rights. This journey culminated on March 25 at a large action at the Sainte-Soline Megabasin.
